Healing Faith- An In Your World Series Novel

Kate Hill is fleeing from her abusive boyfriend when her bus breaks down in rural Iowa.  With her abuser in pursuit, she seeks sanctuary with an Amish family after hiding in their buggy. She discovers a world unlike hers in many ways: full of love and sense of family that she had never experienced in her own world. But with the love also come prejudice and a faith that she has never experienced before.

Nathan Fisher is an innocent Amish man questioning his faith after the loss of his family. Struggling on his own to keep his family’s farm working, he discovers his guiding angel when the English woman becomes his inspiration to his heartsick soul. He knows it would be wrong to fall for this woman, whom the Bishop says is merely temptation to lead him astray. But perhaps that is what his God has sent for him. A fresh start, even if it means the risking all he has ever known.

Kate must overcome the prejudices of a guarded community and confront the harsh brutality of her world when it comes to find her in order for her to find a life she can be proud to live.  Nathan must find his lost faith while battling the forbidden desire he has for the Outsider that would surely leave him shunned from all he has ever known should he give into his feelings.

Together they will discover that love can break down boundaries in cultural differences, and heal broken faith.

Healing Faith, the debut novel in the In Your World Series by Jennyfer Browne will be released in June 2013. Stay tuned for more information and excerpts coming soon!

    Congratulations!! Love this story!!

I saw it’ll be part of a series. Will you be splitting up the story into separate books or doing different books on different characters as part of the series?

    • Thanks Lauren!
It will be a little of both. The original story is too long to make into just one book, so it will cover 2 books. And I really wanted to delve into a little more of the other characters- like Ben’s time with the English and perhaps the children grown up. So we’ll see where that journey leads us!
      Thanks so much!

  12. Sasha says:

Hey! I was reading the Spanish translation in fanfiction and I want buy it. Do you know if it’s going to be sell in Spain?

    • Buenos dias my friend!
It should be sold internationally starting on June 1st, but for now will only be available in English. I am hoping for translations into French, German, Spanish and Russian at the very least sometime in the future, but they take a long while to process.
So excited to have you read it!
      Thanks so much!

      • Ariadna says:

I don’t care about the language, I ‘ve already read some books in English like Afterlife by Claudia Gray. I’m happy if it could be soll internationally.

  16. Daizy says:

Squeal and jump of joy! I’m so excited that this is really happening!

I read the story a while ago and loved it. It’s definitely unique, and not just among fan fic. I do read quite a lot of fan fic, though, and want to let you know this story was one of very few that gave me what I’ve taken to calling Fic Afterglow. A story is SO good I simply can’t read any fic any time soon after for fear that I couldn’t possibly enjoy anything not written as beautifully and powerfully.

I’m so happy that I’ll be able to share this with my friends and congratulations to you. Cheers!

  17. Tara says:

  18. Cindy says:

  19. Elis says:

hello! I’m Spanish and I would like to know if your book will come out in Spanish, I love to read in my language

    • At this time I don’t have plans to expand in translations- but there is always a hope that a publisher will take this story on and provide the chance for translations. I would want to make sure the integrity of the story was translated well- so perhaps one day- but not in the immediate future.
      Thanks for reading!

  20. I loved the books. Congragulations to you. It was probably the best edward/bella fanfic I had ever read if not the best fanfic ever. I keep rereading it over and over. It is in my top 5 books. I think it is even my favorite I have read so far, and that is saying something.
